There will be Workshops, Trainings & Guest Speakers as DWC Members from across Florida come together at the Florida Capitol Museum and Capitol to meet directly with Legislators and advocate for the issues that matter to our communities.

I have volunteered Region IV for the DWCF Awards Committee. The purpose is to honor our Democratic Women.
Each Club can nominate one person, who must be present to accept the award, for Honorary Membership, Rising Star, Outstanding Members of the Year, Humanitarian, Life Membership

North Florida Springs Conservation
Keynote Speaker: Haley Moody, Director
High Springs Institute (HIS)
Howard T. Odom HSI is dedicated to protecting Florida’s Springs through sound science and education. Learn About their Conservation efforts to preserve, restore, and prevent our Springs from disappearing and how you can help and support them to protect our most important natural resource, North Florida Springs.
Haley Moody, Executive Director of the Florida Springs Institute, will be the Democratic Women’s Club of Santa Fe Springs guest speaker at the membership meeting.
We are proud to announce we will be donating a portion of our proceeds from the JUMBO YARD SALE, Saturday Nov. 8, 10am to 1pm, to the Florida Springs Institute!
The Jumbo Yard Sale Committee wants to help you donate. Please bring your gently used clothing, home & garden items to the meeting early, at 2:30 pm to unload at the rear of the High Springs City Hall, next to the HS Women’s Club. If you have items that require at home pickup, please contact Judi @ 352-538-8113, Jan @561-0772 0r Kristin @ 305-582-3800. Call or text.
Drive to the rear of the building to unload before parking. We will fill the trucks and cars that will be there for transporting to the storage shed and we will have people to help you load into those vehicles.
WE NEED 2 PAIR OF SAW HORSES (BORROWED) AND YARD SIGNS (ASAP) TO REPURPOSE FOR EVENT.
